Today I’m talking with Kendall Ashley, and you’ll see why I think she’s amazeballs. Kendall is a writer and an editor who speaks mostly in movie quotes, and once got a job interview after putting her most respectable Xbox achievements on a cover letter. She loves campy horror and anything with a zombie in it. You can find most of her writing at Nerdist and Geek & Sundry. I talk with Kendall about bun-stuffing in ballet, her perspective as an editor at a publishing house, San Diego Comic-Con, and all our conflicted feelings about the new Harry Potter book, The Cursed Child. You guys, she has so many great recommendations for reading and viewing and will guide us through all we need to know to geekily entertain ourselves. This conversation was FUN, and I shared about one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. So…listen in and lighten up.
